AROUND US

When you're here, you feel like you're in a remote location. In reality, you're a quick 15 minute trip to Bentley and 20 minutes to Lacombe. Situated between Edmonton and Calgary for easy weekend trips and close 'stay-cations'.

Down the road from the campground is 'Anderson Park', a popular Wilson's Beach resident destination complete with a small playground (with a big slide), dinosaur bone digging, musical outdoor instruments, picnic tables with covered shelters, and the best thing of all:

โ€‹

A HUGE FRISBEE GOLF COURSE

We have copies of how to play the course and all the rules at our office - ask us when you check in!

โ€‹

We are surrounded by a vibrant local community, hiking trails, biking and walking paths. Just a little further down the road from Anderson Park is a local honey farm called "The Gull Lake Honey Company", they have markets in the summer and have a storefront. If you're here for a longer stay and you want to do a "town day" with your family, Bentley is a great option for it's cute main street, shopping experiences, and the small town vibes. There is a popular local pub called 'The Monkey Top' that has an outdoor patio and delicious pizza.

Those who wander are often seekers - seekers of experience, not drifting aimlessly, rather immersing themselves in the world around them.

Follow the path to self discovery...
and the beach!

THE SAND BAR

A few of us 'locals' know of a magical place on Gull Lake where the lake floor is perfect sand and drops off like a cliff into the water, doubling as natures diving board and the lake is the swimming pool. People anchor their boats, turn on some music, let their dogs swim, play a little catch and enjoy the sun. Stay with us for the week and spend some of your afternoons at this hidden spot.

Camp with us and we will tell you where this dreamy place is.
