You just finished setting up your campsite on the beach and you can feel the weekend vibes kicking in. As you glance around, the sun peeks through the trees, casting a golden glow on a private path from your campsite. You can't resist the call of adventure, so you follow that sunlit trail as the version of you who leaves work for Monday's, the free spirit inside of you....... and then you see it:
the lake.
This place? It's like a nostalgic time capsule. A classic campground with a small town vibe, quirky rope handrails stretching up hills, stairs made of old tires, a cute little free library with a curious fairy-house below, and a whole bunch of secret nature paths just waiting to be explored.

OUR STORY
Our story begins in the groovy 1950's when the seeds of the campground were first planted by the Lacombe Fish and Game Association.
By 1967, we were hard at work constructing our nearly 90 campsites. Fast forward to the 1980's and behold - the Wilson's Beach Campground pier emerges as the heartbeat of our campground.
The go-to hangout spot for campers looking to reel in some good times.
Now, let's talk about 2023 - the year we restored the pier to it's former glory, replacing every last plank to ensure it's legacy lives on. So, whether you're casting a line for a big catch or simply unwinding as the sun paints the sky, the pier is your go-to spot for all things magical.
OUR CAMPGROUND
Nestled deep in the trees, along the sandy eastern shoreline of Gull Lake, sits the ultimate spot for your next camping get-away. Our campground is the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure with a hidden gem vibe where you feel like you're one of the lucky ones who found it.

Picture pushing your paddle board (or ours) into the lake just steps from your campsite. The sun is going down over the lake painting the sky in beautiful pastels. You spent the day reading your favorite book on the beach while your kids were building sand castles and baking delicious mud pies. The night has made the air a bit cooler, so you start a campfire ready to share stories under the starry sky.

SEASONAL CAMPING
We are going to be honest, we have a lot of demand for our powered seasonal campsites. But, every season we have a couple of campsites open up. Our seasonal campsites are all unique, but all deep within the trees of our campground. Some of the most beautiful ones are located right along the lake. We lovingly refer to this row and the campers in it as: "the beachcombers." Our community of seasonal campers help to create the amazing atmosphere we have here at the lake

(if you forget about the lake for a second), no parking lot vibes here, our nightly campsites are immersed in nature and trees!
Our un-serviced campsites offer privacy and ALL are less than 2 minutes to the lake. Some of our most special campsites are located right on the beach. We have campsites for big and small trailers, tents, groups, you name it, fun in all varieties

BEACH BUNKIE
RENTAL
You know, sometimes it's hard to book a lakefront campsite. Or maybe you don't have a trailer or tent but still want to experience our campground. The BEACH BUNKIE is a cabin-like pod situated in one of our best lakefront seasonal campsites. The Beach Bunkie has a private shower, bathroom, a comfy queen bed. a tv, mini fridge, outdoor kitchen, outdoor living-room and so much more. Did we mention it's right on the beach? With floor to ceiling windows, you'll have front row seats to the picturesque sunsets
